Women's cross wins NCAA Regional Championship

Going up against one of the best teams in the nation, the 10th-ranked University of Arkansas, Rice pulled out its first-ever victory at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships. The Owls edged the Razorbacks 54 to 70 to gain an automatic bid to the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Ind., next Monday.
