Formal requests
· For the first time since 1947, there will be no Rondelet this year. (See story, Page 1.) While we are glad Rice Program Council has finally realized it was throwing away its money on the dance that refused to die, we do not want the decision to begin the end of formal dances at Rice.
Happy anniversary, EMS
· The dedicated undergrads of Rice Emergency Medical Services are integral to our way of life, and we thank them as they celebrate their tenth anniversary. They help to hold up Rice traditions that may otherwise have been left by the wayside, most notably our Alcohol Policy and our college and intramural sports teams.
Jackers: Get creative
· It is high time to revive a disappearing Willy Week tradition: committing jacks inventive and resourceful enough to be worthy of our Rice educations.
