The writers strike has been hard on us
For the past several months, students have had to suffer reruns and reality shows as the Writers Guild of America has been on strike to gain better compensation for their work. But as producers and union members finalize an agreement, we believe that students should celebrate the eventual return of our favorite shows, which often serve as escapist breaks from our stressful lives.
So while students may have to wait until April for new episodes of The Office, campus can get a jumpstart today by celebrating “That’s What She Said” Day. It may be hard to wait, and it is long, but we know it would make us feel good in the end. Michael Scott would be proud.
