Owls beat A&M, head to Hawaii this weekend
· Currently two games behind first-place San Jose State University in the Western Athletic Conference standings, the baseball team will try to stay in WAC contention this weekend at the University of Hawaii, the Owls' fourth road series in the last five weeks. After this weekend, though, the Owls will play four of their last five regular-season series at Reckling Park.
Awe shoots career-low 70 at Indian Classic
· The golf team finished fourth at the Arkansas State University Indian Classic in Jonesboro, Ark., Tuesday, gaining much-needed momentum for the upcoming Western Athletic Conference Championships May 2-4 in Ruston, La. The Owls had four strong individual performances and finished only two strokes out of second place in a tournament that was shortened to just one round because of inclement weather.
Women's tennis falls at SMU, TCU
· The women's tennis team suffered its most disappointing loss of the season Saturday, dropping a 6-1 decision to Western Athletic Conference foe Southern Methodist University. The loss to the unranked Mustangs was the Owls' first of the season to a team currently ranked outside the top 45.
