Men's tennis wins Rice Invitational
· With a 5-2 victory over 43rd-ranked Texas Tech University Sunday, the men's tennis team clinched the overall victory for the seventh time in ten years at the Hyatt Regency Downtown/Rice Invitational, held last weekend at Jake Hess Tennis Stadium.
Owls seek to avenge 2005 super-regional loss to Tulane
· After winning its inaugural Conference USA series over East Carolina University (17-10, 1-2) last weekend, the sixth-ranked baseball team hits the road this weekend to face No. 11 Tulane University (18-9, 2-1) in a rematch of the 2005 New Orleans super-regional, which the Green Wave won.
Woman's track hosts Bayou Classic today
· After a three week hiatus, the women's track team was back in action at the Texas Southern Relays March 24-25 at Durley Field. The transition from outdoor to indoor track benefited the Owls, who performed well in several outdoor-only events.
