Men's basketball wins third straight at home
· The men's basketball team returned home Wednesday night to defeat Conference USA rival University of Texas-El Paso in a close matchup, 73-67. The victory moved Rice (10-8, 4-1 C-USA) into sole possession of second place in the conference standings, a mere one game behind the 14th-ranked University of Memphis.
