Rosa spurs men's tennis to easy victories over Arizona, No. 24 Miami
· Continuing a theme from this young season, the men's tennis team dominated in singles play to easily handle No. 24 University of Miami in a 5-2 win Sunday. The win, Rice's fifth in a row and third straight over a ranked opponent, came about in dramatic fashion, two days after a 5-2 defeat of unranked University of Arizona at Jake Hess Tennis Stadium.
Reece returns to lead women's track at Bayou City
· Sophomore Shakera Reece was riding high as the summer of 2007 began. She had posted NCAA outdoor qualifying times in both the 100- and 200-meters, and she earned Conference USA Newcomer of the Year honors. But before she could revel in her accomplishments, Reece suffered a hip flexor injury that kept her inactive for more than half a year.
